INTERIOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR SCHOOL

(IHE) has been preparing students for professional careers as Heavy Equipment Operators since 2005. Our curriculum is a blend of classroom theory and hands-on machine training. Our goal is to provide skilled and safe operators to companies seeking qualified workers for their projects. IHE offers weekly start dates for individuals, as well as custom training packages for industry needs. What began as a one-machine operation, has today grown into a fleet of over 50+ machines operating year-round across Western Canada!

FOR STUDENTS.

EQUIPMENT
TRAINING

We offer training on Excavator, Loader, Dozer, Grader, Articulated Rock Truck, and Rubber Tire Backhoe. Our courses are a blend of on Machine Training and Classroom/Field Theory.

HEO
CERTIFICATES

If you already have machine operating experience, but require a certificate proving so, our certification program is for you. Challenge/Competency/HEO Certifications are available for: Excavator, Loader, Articulated Rock Truck, Dozer, Rubber Tire Backhoe and Grader on our training sites.

SAFETY
TICKETS

In addition to the four basic safety tickets offered with every heavy equipment training course (WHMIS, First Aid, CSTS, GDZ Lvl2), IHE offers in-class safety tickets for H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

EMPLOYMENT
ASSISTANCE

All of our Alumni receive access to weekly job lead postings for the rest of their life. Part of our training also includes building a resume, mock job interviews, and a career exploration assignment will help ensure you are ready to rock and off to work right after graduation.

DRIVERS
TRAINING

Class 1 and 3 licenses are required for specific job duties on a work site that utilizes heavy equipment. We facilitate acquisition of these licenses through third party partners so our students can acquire the requisite licenses for the jobs they go to.

ONLINE
SAFETY TICKETS

We offer a variety of online safety courses and tickets as well. From Defensive Driving, to Fall Protection, Fire Protection, and many more courses required by Employers.
